SkunkBeatManiac Yet another great Polish Death Metal album. Vader like brutality, Hardcore like aggression, Speed Metal like solos and Doom Metal like grooves are all merging into the dark stream of dissonant riffs. Long tracks such as #3 and 7 are especially great for having the both extreme and atmospheric moments. Favorite track: I HAVE CROWNED MYSELF.

Darknight OH YEAH🤘This absolutely slays, SHODAN lay down the riffs and kill it!! The album is an absolute stunner accompanied by amazing cover artwork. Favorite track: DOOMSDAY MELODY.

YomaBarr When stuff teleports you to some dark smoky venue right away means it's good stuff.
This here covers a better part of the DM spectrum, which is for good, dissonant included, which is for better, and quite trippy too. Comparisons come to my mind but I won't tell you, find out for yourselves. Plus, if stuff makes me talkative means it's good stuff ;) and, the cover art!!!

The first 30 seconds of "Revenge by Fire" convinced me to get the whole album! It is a face-melting blend of speed and black metal, reminiscent of Hellripper! KVAEN is a Swedish solo project much like Hellripper but many known guest musicians helped J. Björnfot in his endeavor. Altogether it is really a solid debut album, I loved the melodies and the pace changes in the second half too, ending with a "calm" instrumental one. Well-done!! sachavonkarl74
